This thing is AWESOME! For the price you can’t beat it. Easy to use and cuts as it should. Some animal hair may be a trouble but it has worked for cats and dogs so far. Will even work for people. It’s a game changer to be able to stand the hair up with the suction and whisk it away as you cut.

Our golden doodle doesn’t shed but she does need her hair trimmed every month or so. After a lot of review reading, I bought it. I had read a few complaints that the hose was too narrow and that the suction wasn’t strong enough to manage thick fur very well. But there were so many 5 star reviews, we went with it anyway. I am so glad we did. I groomed our doodle puppy’s long thick curly hair this morning for the first time (she’s 4 months old). I had absolutely no problems with the hose or with suction – in fact, the lowest suction setting was all I needed! The unit is super user friendly and takes no time to figure out how to use it. It is really quiet, so it doesn’t disturb the dog.
